Best Floral Parish in the Bailiwick
Our parish recently won the prestigious Lady Dorey Cup as the best floral parish in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. As a result St Pierre du Bois will now be representing Guernsey in the 2010 Britain in Bloom competition for the very first time with the slogan 'Orguillaeux d'not'e paraesse' (Proud of our parish)
Garden Celebrities
Following the successful visit of Toby Buckland, BBC Gardeners World lead presenter, to Mille Fleurs, Fergus Garrett, well known Head Gardener of Great Dixter will be coming to stay with us in 2010.
Inspirational Gardens
Recently we were included in a glossy garden book 'Inspirational Gardens' by Pamela Westland. It features 60 gardens from around the world including gardens in the USA, Europe, South Africa, India, Japan, Australia, New Zealand AND Mille Fleurs!

L'Eree, our nearest sandy beach has been awarded eco friendly Blue Flag status.
Shopping
We now have a much improved local supermarket, St Peters Food Hall, (formerly Checkers) stocking a wide range of Waitrose products.
Support
And, best of all, our support team of Inguna (in the house and cottages), Alan & Lucy (in the garden), and Possum and Squirrel are all still with us.
