St Pierre du Bois wins Gold
Having won the prestigious Lady Dorey Cup as the best floral parish in the Bailiwick of Guernsey last year, St Pierre du Bois went forward to represent Guernsey in the 2010 national Britain in Bloom competition this year. We were very proud to receive a Gold Award, one of only 19 out of the 66 finalists from a total of 1200 entries from all over Britain.
Garden Celebrities
Following the successful visit of Toby Buckland, BBC Gardeners World lead presenter, in 2009, we were very pleased to welcome Fergus Garrett, well known Head Gardener of Great Dixter to Mille Fleurs in 2010.

This year Mille Fleurs was featured in this newly published guide as one of the 500 most memorable gardens in Britain and Ireland. We are also included in the Good Gardens Guide 2010 - 2011 again, this time as an entry with star.

Our much improved local supermarket, St Peters Food Hall, (formerly Checkers)is now stocking a much wider range of Waitrose products. Waitrose has also recently acquired the 2 largest supermarkets on the island.
